Finding just ten of our favorite things to do in Okoboji is a challenge, considering how much goes on in the Iowa Great Lakes region all year-round. However, there are some things that should not be missed on your stay in Spirit Lake, Okoboji or Center Lake.

Historic Arnolds Park Amusement Park - Built in 1889 during the golden age of amusement parks, Historic Arnolds Park is one of the longest running amusement parks in the World.

Iowa Rock 'n' Roll Music Association Museum - Home to many rock ’n’ roll artifacts from the 50’s and 60’s, the Iowa Rock ‘n’ Roll Museum has a reproduction of the Iowa Great Lakes recording studio, a 60's-era radio broadcast booth vintage recording equipment, and other memorabilia.

Little Swan Lake Winery - Featuring 18 different wines, all produced on-site, you can sample a selection of cheeses and buffalo meat from their own herd, which roams nearby.

Brooks National Golf Course - Enjoy three unique golf layouts and play through parkland prairie and wetlands.

Ranch Okoboji - Featuring an 18 hole mini-golf course, the area's largest arcade and an ice cream shop, Ranch Okoboji is three acres of fun and attractions! Don't miss Tyotee's Wild Mining Adventure, the Wet Rock Mini Golf, Mining Adventure, Sand Volleyball Court or Bungee Blaster.

Kenue Park - Get lost in the breathtaking parklands surrounding a glacial kame - a large bluff remaining of a river running into a glacial hole. You'll find picnic areas, nature trails, a physical fitness course, and modern bathrooms.

Lake Okoboji - Our very own geological treasure, West Okoboji is one of only three blue lakes in the world formed by glacial movement. Along with East Okoboji, the summer months see everything from motor boating, water skiing, and sailing to swimming and fishing.

Gull Point State Park - Hiking trails and beaches mean plenty of sunbathing, splashing and observing a wide variety of wildlife. In the winter, the area is open for cross-country skiing. The Gull Point Lodge built during the 1930's features kitchen facilities and will seat 140 people, ideal for wedding receptions and family reunions.

Pikes Point State Park - Pikes Point State Park, perched scenically on West Lake Okoboji, is home to one of the most popular swim beaches in the area.

Loon Lake Golf Club - Tee off on Loon Lake's nine-hole public golf course, situated within easy driving distance of the Iowa Great Lakes and the Jackson and Lakefield, Minnesota area. Kids age 10 and under always golf for free with a supervising adult.

Okoboji Summer Theatre - Run by Stephens College since 1958, this intensive program has had theatre students working alongside professional guest actors, directors and designers.
